Hello! My name is Harsh Mirani. I have been a Yoga instructor since the beginning of 2020. My classes are based on my learnings through Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Aerial Yoga, and Acro Yoga. Being born and brought up in India, Yoga was a topic often discussed in my houshold. However, I didn't understand and appreciate the value of until much later in my life. Yoga helped me realize that aligning my body, breath, and mind fulfils me. Making Yoga a way of life is healthy, practical and helpful in all aspects. It becomes an expression through movement keeping you fit while providing you a mental balance to deal with any kind of lifestyle.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a practice of passive healing. This style of yoga encourages emotional, physical and mental relaxation. The practice suits practitioners of all levels as it is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on stillness and deep breathing while the postures are held for a long time. Restorative Yoga activates the parasympathetic nervous system. This is the “rest and repair” variation of your nervous system. This activation can help slow down breathing, reduce blood pressure, and produce a feeling of calm. During the practice of Restorative Yoga, props such as blocks, bolsters and blankets are used to help with maintaining passive poses for longer without exerting or tiring out the muscles.
